II. General information on data processing

Scope of the processing of personal data

We process the personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users takes place regularly only with the consent of the user. An exception applies in those cases in which it is not possible to obtain prior consent for actual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by statutory provisions. 

Legal basis for the processing of personal data

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing personal data, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO) serves as the legal basis. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO serves as the legal basis for the processing of personal data required for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO serves as the legal basis. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d DSGVO serves as a legal basis in the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person necessitate the processing of personal data. If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO serves as the legal basis for the processing. 

Data erasure and storage duration

The personal data of the person concerned will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. In addition, the data may be stored if the European or national legislator has provided for this in Union regulations, laws or other provisions to which the person responsible is subject. The data shall also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless it is necessary for further storage of the data for the conclusion or performance of a contract.

 

III. Provision of the website and creation of log files

 

Each time you access our website, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer. The following data is collected:

  • Information about the browser type and the version used

  • The user's operating system

  • The Internet service provider of the user

  • The IP address of the user

  • Date and time of access

  • Sites from which the user's system accesses our Website  

  • Sites that are accessed by the user's system through our website
    The data is also stored in the log files of our system. This does not affect the user's IP address or other data that enables the data to be assigned to a user. These data are not stored together with other personal data of the user.  

 

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. 

 

The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of their collection. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is mandatory for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility for the user to object.  

IV. Newsletter

The legal basis for the processing of data by the user after registration for the newsletter is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The collection of the user's e-mail address serves to deliver the newsletter. The collection of other personal data as part of the registration process serves to prevent misuse of the services or the e-mail address used. The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose for which they were collected. The user's e-mail address will therefore be stored as long as the newsletter subscription is active. The other data collected within the scope of the registration process are

 

 

V. Cookies 

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your terminal device and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware. Information is stored in the cookie, which results in each case in connection with the specifically used terminal device. This does not mean, however, that we will immediately become aware of your identity. The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognise that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our site. On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our offer for you. These cookies enable us to automatically recognize that you have already visited our site when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time. The data processed by cookies are necessary for the purposes mentioned to safeguard our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Most browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. The complete deactivation of cookies may, however, result in you not being able to use all the functions of our website.

 

 

VI. Contact form and e-mail contact

A contact form is available on our website, which can be used for electronic contact. If a user makes use of this possibility, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. At the time the message is sent, the following data is also stored (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO): The IP address of the user Date and time of registration

The processing of the personal data from the input mask serves us exclusively for the processing of the establishment of contact. If you contact us by e-mail, this is also the necessary legitimate interest in the processing of the data. The other personal data processed during the sending process serve to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of their collection. For the personal data from the input mask of the contact form and those sent by e-mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is terminated when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the relevant facts have been conclusively clarified. The additional personal data collected during the sending process will be deleted after a period of seven days at the latest.

 

 

VII. Google Services 

We use the following Google services on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the DSGVO (legitimate interest):

  • Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. In this context, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies are used to collect information such as browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), host name of the accessing computer (IP address), time of the server request. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. 

  • Google AdSense, a service for integrating ads from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google AdSense uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). Through these web beacons, information such as visitor traffic on these pages can be evaluated. The information generated by cookies and web beacons about the use of this website (including your IP address) and the delivery of advertising formats is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. 

  • Google Adwords / RemarketingWe use the remarketing function within the Google AdWords service to do this. The remarketing function enables us to present ads based on your interests to you on other websites within the Google advertising network. For this purpose, your surfing behaviour on our website is analysed, e.g. which offers you have viewed. This enables us to display individualized ads on the online search engine Google itself, so-called "Google ads" and on other websites even after your visit to our website. For this purpose, Google stores a cookie in your browser when you visit Google services or websites in the Google advertising network. Your visits are recorded via this cookie. The cookie is used to uniquely identify your web browser and not to identify you personally.

VIII. Adobe Analytics

This website uses the web analysis service Adobe Analytics to evaluate user access to this website. For this purpose, cookies are stored on your device and information is collected which is also stored on servers of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited ("Adobe"). The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f) DSGVO (legitimate interest).

IX. Social Media Plugins 

We use Facebook and Instagramm social plug-ins on our website on the basis of article 6 paragraph 1 letter f) DSGVO Social Plug-ins of the social networks in order to make our company better known about them. The advertising purpose behind this is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the DSGVO. The responsibility for the data protection-compliant operation is to be guaranteed by their respective providers. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the respective provider as well as your related rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the respective data protection information of the provider, which is linked below. By logging out from social networking sites and deleting cookies, you can prevent social networking sites from assigning the information collected about you to your user account at the social networking site during your visit. If you do not want social networks to associate the information collected through our website directly with your profile, you must log out of those social networks before visiting our website. X. Your rights 

You have the right:

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO. In particular, you may request information on the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right of rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data, unless it has been collected from us, as well as the existence of an automated decision making process including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details;

  • demand the immediate correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO;- demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 DSGVO, unless processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;

  • to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you refuse its deletion and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have lodged an objection against the processing in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO;

  • in accordance with Art. 20 DSGVO, to receive your personal data which you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another responsible person;

  • to revoke your consent once given to us at any time in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO. The consequence of this is that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent for the future, and

  • to complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 DSGVO. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or workplace or at our company headquarters.

If your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21DSGVO if there are reasons for doing so which result from your particular situation.
